Kimi's spotted Finn Ewe lamb-- and more Finns.

For Terri to see! I see the photo's a little fuzzy, but so is she!
Here is proud Mama Lassi's (finn) with her brown ewe and ram lambs.  The first of 3 lambs didn't make it.  The little spotty ram may go to live in New York.

And another of Kimi's two ewe lambs:

Thank you, thank you! The brown ewe looks precious and her dam is very light. Perhaps some modifying? I also like the look of the spotty black and white ewe. I've noticed my Finn lambs had an initial "fuzz" which goes away when the wool really starts coming in. She's not the stiff neck lamb, or is she?

No she's not. That girl's got white splashes on her head. Nice to hear about the baby fuzz. I wondered. The little black ewe does look pretty crimpy, here.

I forgot: re: modified color. I haven't seen enough brown Finns, but I certainly think Lassi looks modified-- but same color as our two rams, don't you think? This photo with flash is a little washed out, but still...

It could be the flash but Lassi looks pretty light compared to pics of my Eino. She could just be a really light brown too. There are so many 'shades.'

The solid black ewe reminds me of my black ram - it looks like she has dense fiber. I really like the spotted black/white - I will be curious to see what her wool likes like in a few weeks.
