There's even less snow now than on this day a week ago. . .
It took forever to get this new computer to make and post pictures, to get AOL working right. . . but we're here. Still learning. . .
And guess who is my new best friend. . . Little Red Oak Maple, the shy lamb!

Isn't it heartwarming when the shy ones finally decide that you're OK?

Happy Spring!
Happy Spring!
Thank you, yes!
Awwww....she's so cute! I hope my first ever lambs (this year) will learn to be my friends too, even if their moms are a bit skittish....
Hi Gail, Maple is pretty cute! Nice photos, thinking of you-are you going to get snow this week? We'll probably just get rain here...
Hi Karen,
thanks! It sounds like rain tonight, not much snow, just freezing slick rain. . . yuk. I wouldn't mind, but I have to have dry sheep for shearing on Sunday! SAy, nice picture of you and little musket ewe in your profile photo.
Claire,
you wild thing. I just read your blog. Your fourth degree, what were you thinking! Sorry about the job loss in your household. I hope this only means you'll get more help with the animals. As for skittish lambs, I started selling all the ewes who didn't like me, since they usually taught their children to avoid me, too. Not always, though.
Good luck to you.
