Into winter

Here's the view looking west, corn still standing, in October:
and, mid-October, after harvesting and plowing, and rainfalls made the moss on the trees stand up, furry:

And this was the scene looking into those driveway trees, from the west, on Saturday.  Kitter the pet barn cat follows the photographer for some outdoor company.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

No snow (yet) in the Bluff Country. It's supposed to be around 40 tomorrow! I'm in no hurry for the snow to fall. I need to get the heated water bowls set out for the chickens and the sheep!

Enjoy your beautiful, winter wonderland!

You live in a beautiful place, Gail. I love the farmland! And your cute little Kitter. :)

I think the snow is here to stay.

Nancy, I can't believe you have no snow! Sabrina, I just read your blog tonight to hear you've had over a foot! For sure, yours is here to stay-- mine is, too.

I agree with Sabrina, you live in such a beautiful place. I love the shot with the kitty in the snow.

Your place is so pretty, in the snow or any time of year. Our ice/snow just melted, but more coming today. And it's coming your way too.

Thanks for the great pictures, Gail. It's fun to see how snowfall varies around Minnesota. I hope we get some of that, just have a little here. Bring it on, I love winter!
